How to connect people without spaces to spaces without people in the short term?

Entremise works to connect people without spaces to spaces without people by challenging the narratives and norms around the use of vacant spaces, and by developing alternative projects that can take place during and beyond the period of vacancy.

In less than two years, Les Interstices helped Entremise position transitional urbanism as an administrative priority (7 action plans accros services) and as a political promise, which allowed to consolidate a public innovation laboratory (Laboratoire transitoire) and a first transitional use / pilot project (Projet Young)

Roles included:

• Framing the initial mission, communication and action plan of the organisation as a whole

• Design management for the organisation’s visual identity and its initiatives

• Recruiting the first talents to embark on the mission, including its the first co-founders

• Developing and implementing multi-platform communication strategies

• Acting as a spoke person publicly, and managed the relations with journalists

• Relationship building and holding with various types of stakeholders and funders

• Ensuring a sound governance of the entity in collaboration with the board

• Scoping, leading, and managing various projects
